Course Participation:

Please actively participate in the distance learning course, you must stay in from the camera at all times

Always have your internet connection

Have no visual or audible distraction while in session

Be alone (you may have more than 1 person in the same class on one computer)

Dress as you are in the regular classroom setting

Do not use cell phone
-
Do not turn off camera unless on the break

Greenhaus Safe Driving Policy:

Late students will NOT be accepted per DMV requirement - FEE WILL BE NON-REFUNDABLE

If you do not show up - FEE WILL BE NON-REFUNDABLE

You cannot attend the zoom class while working, driving, walking, on a subway/bus or moving around and no sleeping allowed. You must be sitting still in a quiet room with no distractions. The instructor will remove you from the class and you will lose the class fee if policy is not followed.

If you are more than 10 mins late due to connection issues and are not accepted and you will lose the class fee.

If you have any issues such as visual or audio and cannot complete the course or the instructor does not accept you to the class, you will lose the class fee.

No rescheduling/refund for not being accepted, having technical issues, lateness or no show. No exceptions!!!

After 24 hours all purchases are final

All refunds take 7-10 days to process

If you are late to the Zoom class – you will not be admitted after the class started. If your screen turns off due to connection problems for more than 3 minutes – you will not be qualified to receive a defensive driving course certificate.

If you have other people in the room or engage in other activities other than classroom courses – you will be disqualified to receive a defensive driving course certificate.

No course recording can be made by any student (visual/audio) – students will be liable for violating the school’s policy.

Upon course completion, your certificate will be sent out by US mail to the address on the registration form, be sure to fill it out fully including any apartment number. Students must be sure it's signed before emailing it back.
• Duplicate certificates can be requested by calling Empire Safety Council office at (631) 360-2160. (a $5 fee may apply)
